Day 16: 5 Things on your Bucket List #26DayBloggingChallenge

I really want to walk the Milford Sound Track in New Zealand
 Visit Machu Piccu
Walk The Great Wall of China
 Swim with Turtles
Try Skiing

I have two bucket list one for the really big dreams like the one's above
and every year I do a little one, with things I can do locally that I really
want to do. It keeps things interesting and I love crossing things of my lists.
What's on your bucket list???

Day 15: What Kind of Person Are You Attracted To? #26DayBloggingChallenge

If I lined up all the people I am attracted to, there is no pattern.

Looks are not everything although you do have to have some form of attraction for your partner.

The things that attract me the most are confidence, sense of humour, a big personality, kind, caring, giving and a big massive heart.

Day 14: What is your Star Sign and Do You Feel The Traits Are Like You?? #26DayBloggingChallenge

Leo's are supposed to have a lovely mane of hair, unfortunately my flat lifeless hair does not agree with this Leo trait.

Leo's are supposed to be attractive and I think I'm pretty much average on a good day.

Not one to mess with, well you would have to do something absolutely terrible for this little kitten to roar. Needless to say if I see someone I love is being mistreated, I will back them in a heartbeat. I think that's where my being loyal comes in.

Really good at almost everything, I totally disagree with. I am still hunting for my natural talent. Everyone has one and unfortunately I haven't found mine yet.

Everything else on the list above I do agree with, although I have never kissed myself so I am unsure if I am a good kisser.

Day 13: 5 Ways to Win my Heart #26DayBloggingChallenge

I found these images and I think they pretty much tick all of my boxes. They are
so pretty so instead of me rambling on, enjoy the images below of 5 ways to win my heart.

Day 12: What is Your Relationship Status and Describe What It's Like? #26DayBloggingChallenge

Relationship Status: Married

Years Together:  16

Things I love about my boy
Sweet
Kind
Caring
Giving
Does crazy stuff just to make me happy
He cries in movies
He makes me laugh often
He loves me for me
He puts up with my moods

We have our ups and downs, but at the end of the day I cant imagine him not being by my side. We met at a engagement party, I was there for the bride to be and he was there for the groom to be. I had just got out of a 8 year relationship so flirting and meeting a guy were really new to me. We hit it off straight away and had a great night, nothing happened that night as he had a girlfriend and I am not that type of girl and he is not that type of guy. Six months later he moved in with the bride and groom and lived only 4 houses down the street from me and was now single. We went on our first date and saw Lake Placid the worst movie of all time. After dinner he walked me home and I did not have my keys as I was in a share house of 12 people and nobody ever locked the door. Unfortunately this night they locked the door and I couldn't get in needless to say I spent the night at Jeremy's place all we did was spoon we didn't even kiss and I actually loved that and all I can say is the rest is history. Oh and I found out my room mates locked the door on purpose, the little match makers. Thank god I liked him it would have been very awkward if the date was a epic fail.

Day 7 - Photo of you and your family. Describe each member #26DayBloggingChallenge

I adore these photos, there from my Grandad's 90th Birthday last year and it totally sums us all up -we are a mad bunch. Starting at the left we have my Brother Neil who is 4 years younger than me. When ever I introduce people to Neil I make them say you must be Luan's older brother, he gets all fired up and annoyed that people think he looks older than me. He hasn't realised yet that I ask everyone to say it to him just to see him get annoyed. Yes I am a very mean older sister. Next is my Daddy Bear we get on so well now that I don't live under the same roof as him. We used to argue so much when I was growing up and it was only because we are so similar. The other day he said to me' "you weren't such a bad kid, I just didn't realise it at the time". It's cause I would always have to have the last say no matter what it was about. Next is Mummy Bear who I still sit on her lap for a cuddle  when ever I am sad or upset. Mum has the biggest heart in the world and means the world to me. Around our dinner table we sometimes get the giggles and we have no idea what we are laughing about. We are al in histerics with tears rolling down our face and sore stomachs from lauging. I love those moments and I love that the photo below has captured one of those moments.
Next is my Jezzy Bear my beautiful Husband who I have been with since 1999. We have our ups and downs like any couple but his honesty and pure heart are something rare and beautiful you don't find in many people these days. Last but not least is my 90 year old Grandad who is such a gentleman. He is vey hard of hearing but what he has lost in hearing he has gained in memory. He remembers his childhood better than I do. I love to sit listening to his tales from when he was a young boy. My family are a bit bonkers but I wouldn't have them any other way, I love them to the moon and back.

and I mustn't forget Mindy Cat who has been our little munchkin for the last 10 years. Our house would not feel like a home if we didn't have him and also Leonardo our fighting fish who has been with us for the last 8 months. Unfortunately I have no photos of him something I will have to fix on the weekend.

Day 6 - Describe a Dark/Turbulent Moment In Your Life #26 Day Blog Challenge

The darkest moment in my whole entire life was when I was told told that I could not have children. It was a real slap in the face as I had always wanted to be a Mum and my whole plans and dreams for the future had to change.  The love and support from my Hubby during these times has made me love him even more and I know he is with me for me and not for my child bearing abilities. All I can say is it has made us a stronger couple, I know a lot of relationships wouldn't make it through what we have and I thank my lucky stars every day that I met my Hubby.

Day 5 - A Spontaneous Moment in Your Life That Turned Out To Be Fantastic!!! #26DayBlogChallenge

A spontaneous Moment in your life that turned out to be fantastic!!!!!!
I have been racking my brains trying to come up with something to write for this question. I guess I am not that spontaneous.
I then thought of my birthday we climbed a mountain which was totally planned and then after that we just went for a drive and we ended up coming across a strawberry farm. where we picked the biggest juiciest strawberries and had a grand old time. Sometimes the best plans are not to have plans.

Day 4 - Draw Yourself! #26DayBlogChallenge

Ok, I am not a artist. I look like such a miserable old cow in my picture. To lighten the mood I will tell you about something funny that happened to me at work today. I have a job in finance/customer service and today it was crazy town busy. I asked a member for their member card and when they gave it to me I said, " love you" instead of thankyou. I wanted to crawl under the table and hide, I then explained that I meant to say thank you and it had been a long day. Thank goodness she had a sense of humour and had a laugh about it. Well that being said it has been a long day and I am off to bed now. I'm so tired maybe that's why my artwork is such a disaster.

Have a lovely weekend, enjoy yourselves

Day 3 - I Am Currently Addicted To This TV Show #26DayBlogChallenge

I must confess, I am a reality television whore. I watch all of them Big  Brother, The Batchelor, ANTM, Project Runway and Amazing Race but my all time favourite is Survivor. I love watching how people cope with the crazy position they have been put in. While still trying to play a mind game and do extreme challenges. I love seeing the cocky contestants fail and the  people that you presume will be crap thriving.

I have just posted recently about Orphan Black. It's my all time favourite programme of this year. If you haven't read my previous post it follows outsider, orphan and street-wise chameleon Sarah. After witnessing a woman's suicide, Sarah assumes the stranger's identity - who happens to look just like her. Expecting to solve all her problems by cleaning out the dead woman's savings, Sarah is instead thrust headlong into a kaleidoscopic mystery as she realizes the dizzying truth - she and the dead woman are clones. As Sarah searches for answers, she discovers the chilling fact that there are more people like her out there - genetically identical individuals who were planted in unsuspecting birth parents and nurtured in completely different circumstances. With no idea who created the clones, she'll need to discover the reason in a hurry as an assassin is killing them one by one.

Day 2 of Blogger Challenge, What's In Your Makeup Bag

What's in my makeup bag well first let me say, I am really not a Little Miss Makeup, I lost most of my makeup a month ago. Hubby and I were cleaning our teeth at the same time and Mindy Cat was a little bit excited to see what was going on at the sink. So he jumped up on the sink and knocked my tray of makeup off. Needless to say all my eye shadows and blush smashed all over the bathroom floor.
Right now all I have is
Estee Lauder Double Wear/ Pure Beige
Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer
Rimmel Blush/ Pink Rose
Natio Mineral Eye shadow/ Subtle Glamour
Estee Lauder Tester Pack free with purchase
Diorshow Black Out Mascara
Avon metallic liquid eyeliner /Plum Craze
Australis eye pencil/Smoke
Revlon Lip Gloss Number 14
Rimmel Kate Lipstick Number 22
My foundation is about to run out so any recommendations for a new one would be greatly appreciated. I just need one that lasts all day and helps to minimise pores.
Hump day today, I hope you all enjoy the rest of your week xxx

Two Birds - Inspiration Monday

I thought I would play along with Two Birds Inspiration Monday. All you have to do is put your spin on a celeb outfit. Below is my version, i'm in love with the pussy cat bow on this blouse. You can go to Two Birds blog and have a look at how everyone else has interpreted the outfit.

I'm also going to play along with Jade at The Life and Times of Jade Lee Wright who has started a 28 day blog challenge which I have decided to join. All you have to do is follow the list below.
Since I have already taken a photo of myself here is a description of my rather bland day.

The alarm buzzed at 7am and I hit the snooze button twice, it's hard to get up when you have a cat spooning you on one side and a Husband spooning you on the over side. I quickly had a shower, then I had my oats with honey and cinnamon with a green tea for Brekkie and made a healthy lunch. I rushed to put my head on. I had no time left to do my hair so I stuck it up in a pony tail. Which I do most days as I run out of time and patience with my unruly mop of hair. I kissed my boys goodbye and headed off to work.
I drove to work and traffic was rather poo and that's a nice way to describe it. I turned up at my branch and served a few customers, went on morning tea. Which consisted of a pear, banana, ginger and apple smoothie and a handful of nuts. When I came back from morning tea I was told I had to go to another branch as someone had gone home sick. So off I went in my car the traffic was lovely and I actually found a perfect car park which is normally unheard of at that time of day. I served a few more customers and then went on lunch consisting of  Chicken and salad. A really good salad I may add full of lots of healthy goodies. I went back to work, served a few more customers and then drove home. Where I immediately sat down and started this blog post. While my butter chicken is reheating in the microwave. Reading this back I realise the highlight of my day is eating and I cant really see anything wrong with that nom, nom, nom. I have to go the butter chicken is ready.
I hope your day was a little more exciting than mine, I am so not a writer so I hope my bland day hasn't bored you to tears xxxx
